Delivery and Returns
Orders are delivered using Royal Mail. A courier service can be used by special request, the cost of which will be the responsibility of the customer. Higher value orders may also be delivered by courier service. Delivery charges are:
Standard (3-5 working days) - £3.00
Express (1-2 working days) - £6.95
We really hope you are very happy with your purchase but if for any reason you're not, you can return the item within 14 days of receipt for a refund or exchange. If 14 days have gone by since your purchase, any offer of a refund, partial refund or exchange is at the discretion of Little Corner of Happiness and is not guaranteed.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. You will need to email email@example.com for details of how to progress your return. The cost of returns is the responsibility of the customer and you are strongly advised to obtain a proof of postage as refunds will not be issued for items lost in the post.
Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as food, flowers, newspapers or magazines cannot be returned. We also do not accept the return of earrings for pierced ears for hygiene purposes.
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted:
Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or has missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
Any item that is returned more than 14 days after delivery.
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If your refund is approved it will be processed and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment.
Late or missing refunds
If you haven’t received your refund, first check with your bank or credit card company. It may take some time before your refund is officially posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Refund of Sale items
If you require a refund of a reduced priced item or item purchased in the sale you should follow the process for normal refunds but this should be done within 7 days of receipt. There will be no exceptions.
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange an item, send us an email at email@example.com and you will be sent further instructions.
You will be responsible for paying for your own postage costs for returning your item. Original postage costs are non-refundable.
If you are returning an item, you should consider using a trackable service or purchasing insurance, particularly for higher value items. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item and a refund cannot be processed for items not received.
